Yes, I made banana pudding. No I did not buy it from the deli and make it LOOK like I made it. Yes, my kids just asked me "Who are you and where is our mother?" No, I did not tell them she was abducted by aliens and replaced with someone with domestication and culinary skills. Yes, I did just try some. No, it's not as good as I thought it would be. Yes, I don't care, I'm taking it to the bar-b-que anyway, so then we won't have to eat it.
